5 continents. 2 Dudes. 1 planet.
Two creatives are sent to different sides of the planet on the assignment of a lifetime – a photoshoot in 20 countries over a span of 72 days.
Their job as newly annointed global citizens is to capture in a photo what they see every day at exactly 5:21, wherever they are, whatever they’re doing. Be it stuck in traffic in Mumbai, waiting in a hotel lobby in Panama or standing in shark infested waters off Australia’s coastline.
Everyday. Everywhere. Religiously at 5:21.
Piling into a taxi with a Mariachi band, setting out to seranade people around the city, sipping a chai with the dabbawallahs after delivering lunches in Mumbai or mingling with the life guards at Bondi beach. We’ll take a picture, wherever we are at 5:21 and share it with the world.
On a photoshoot that takes us across 5 continents, this is our attempt to share a slice of what we see, with you.
The epic, the banal, the prosaic and the poignant. It will be our authentic catalog of 5:21’s around the world.
We’ll put what we capture on 5:21somewhere.com as well as share our journey with people on twitter and facebook. And if you have your own 5:21, send it to us and we’ll share it with the world.
